Christmas in Prospect Street Party

Experience a magical Christmas in Prospect this Saturday 9th December along Prospect Road from 3pm – 9pm.
Witness a spectacular arrive from Santa to Prospect Road at 3pm, accompanied by Lucy Hood MP in vintage cars & with a group of our charity motorbike riders. A warm invitation to our schools, kindergartens, childcares and families to witness his arrival along the footpath of Prospect Road. He’d love to see you smiling faces as he arrives!
Join Santa for his walk along Prospect Road from Muratti to Vine street plaza to welcome and greet a very special guest, the Premier Peter Malinauskas. Witness a traditional Lions dance preceding the official event opening by our Premier who will be illuminating our gorgeous 12ft Christmas tree!
The event promises an array of mouth watering food from the diverse cultures within our community, Vietnamese, Greek, Italian, Spanish, Vietnamese, there something for everyone!
Pop up Christmas market stalls, free gift wrapping and a Christmas cave adorned in fairy lights with kids craft activities by Prospect Lions Club.
Carols from 3-5pm, sung by our locals, churches and even a guest appearance from North Adelaide Football Club & live music that will get your feet tapping by Aaron Thomas Band from 5-9pm.
Santa’s little helpers will be very busy Elves greeting all the children visiting Santa on the night. Don’t forget, there’s face painting, hair braiding, henna, treats and and of course the opportunity to meet Santa and have a selfie with him.
